Crash guide
A crash game is a casino game where a multiplier climbs from 1.00x and stops at a random point. Cash out before it stops and your stake is paid at that multiplier; wait too long and you lose it. Aviator is the best known, and cricket versions like CricketX are popular in India.
Here is how they work, what each game pays back and why no cash-out trick changes the maths.

Not for real money. The Online Gaming Act 2025 bans online money games across India, and crash games are covered. Be wary of apps and Telegram groups promising Aviator predictions or signals. Our guide to gambling law in India explains the Act in full.
The basics
You stake before the round, watch a multiplier rise from 1.00x and cash out before it crashes. The crash point is set by a random number generator before the round starts, so nothing you do during the round can change it.
A short countdown opens each round. Set one bet, or two if the game has a second panel.
It rises faster the longer the round lasts. Most rounds end at low multipliers, and only a few run past 10x.
Tap cash out and your stake is paid at the multiplier on screen. A ₹100 bet cashed at 2.40x returns ₹240.
Set an exit such as 1.60x before the round and the game cashes out for you, with no reaction time involved.
If the round crashes first, that bet loses. The crash point was fixed before the round began.
Game by game
Aviator by Spribe is the most played, followed by JetX and the cricket-themed CricketX. All eight games below share the same rising-multiplier round. They differ in theme, RTP and top multiplier.
01
The game that made crash popular in India. A red plane takes off and the multiplier climbs until it flies away. Two bet panels let you run a safe exit and a long shot in the same round.
02
A jet climbs across a retro arcade screen. It has the same core loop as Aviator with a higher top multiplier, and it was one of the first crash games to reach Indian lobbies.
03
A batter hits the ball and the multiplier rises as it flies, until a fielder takes the catch. Its 98.8% RTP is the highest of any game in this list.
04
Another cricket theme, with a bonus portal that can lift the multiplier by 10%, 20% or 50% mid-flight. The lower RTP pays for that feature over time.
05
An Aviator-style game where you can customise your plane and unlock new ones as rewards. The looks change; the round maths doesn't.
06
A clean, modern layout with a connection-strength indicator, which helps on mobile data where a dropped signal can cost you a manual cash-out.
07
A minimal plane game from the CrashX studio, with seasonal skins around holidays. It suits players who want the bare game without the extras.
08
A superhero flies upward in place of a plane. Two bets can run at once, and the lowest RTP here means it costs a little more per round than Aviator.
RTP and max win are the studios' published figures. Bet limits are set by each site, so check the game's info panel.
The maths
On a crash game, the chance of a round reaching a multiplier is roughly the RTP divided by that multiplier. With Aviator's 97% RTP, a 2x exit wins about 49% of rounds and a 10x exit about 10%. Every exit returns the same 97% over time.
| Cash-out at | 95% RTP | 97% RTP (Aviator) | 98.8% RTP (CricketX) | ₹100 returns |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.20x | 79% | 81% | 82% | ₹120 |
| 1.50x | 63% | 65% | 66% | ₹150 |
| 2.00x | 48% | 49% | 49% | ₹200 |
| 3.00x | 32% | 32% | 33% | ₹300 |
| 5.00x | 19% | 19% | 20% | ₹500 |
| 10.00x | 9.5% | 9.7% | 9.9% | ₹1,000 |
| 100.00x | 0.9% | 1.0% | 1.0% | ₹10,000 |
These are long-run averages for a game whose RTP is the same at every exit. Over a short session anything can happen, including several crashes in a row below 1.20x.
Fairness
A provably fair game commits to each round's result before you bet and lets you check it afterwards. It proves the crash point wasn't changed mid-round. It doesn't remove the house edge.
Before the round
The game shows a hash, a scrambled code, of its secret server seed.
During the round
Seeds from players are mixed in, so the studio alone can't pick the result.
After the round
The server seed is revealed. Run it through the checker and it should match the hash and the crash point.
Strategy
They change how a session feels, not what it costs. A strategy can make wins smaller and more frequent or bigger and rarer, but the game keeps the same share of what you stake either way. Here is what the common ones really do.

Casino gamesWhat readers ask most about Aviator, cash-out odds and fairness.
A crash game is a casino game where a multiplier rises from 1.00x and stops, or crashes, at a random point. You cash out before the crash to win your stake times the multiplier shown. If the round crashes first, you lose the stake.
Not for real money. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans online money games across India, and crash games like Aviator are inside that ban. Its penalties target operators, advertisers and payment providers rather than players.
No. The crash point is fixed before the round starts, and each round is independent of the last. Apps and Telegram channels selling Aviator predictions can't see the result in advance.
Of the games in this guide, CricketX from SmartSoft has the highest studio RTP at 98.8%. Aviator, JetX and AviatriX sit at 97%, and Cricket Crash is lowest at 95%.
Before a round, the game publishes a scrambled code (a hash) of a secret server seed. After the round it reveals the seed, so you can check that the crash point came from that seed and was not changed once bets were in.
There isn't one. On a 97% RTP game, a 2x exit wins about 49% of rounds and a 10x exit about 10%. Both return the same 97% over time; the difference is how bumpy the ride is.
It doesn't change the odds. It removes reaction time and the urge to hold on for one more second, which is why it suits most players better than tapping manually.
