Khada betting explained

Khada, also written khado, is an Indian market where you bet that a score finishes inside a set range of runs. Instead of a single Yes or No line, you pick a starting figure and the bet wins if the final runs land between that figure and the top of the range.

Quick overview

  • How does a khada range work? Say a site offers a 6-over khada starting at 48 with a range of 10.
  • When does a khada bet make sense? When you have a firm view on roughly how many runs will come but not which side of the session line they'll fall.
  • How is khada different from session betting? A session bet wins if the score is on one side of a line.
  • Score lands inside the range: Win at the stated rate
  • Common mistake: Choosing a narrow range for the bigger payout without a reason to expect a tight score.

How does a khada range work?

Say a site offers a 6-over khada starting at 48 with a range of 10. You win if the score after 6 overs is from 48 to 57. Anything below 48 or above 57 loses. The narrower the range, the higher the payout.

  • Range sizes and naming differ from site to site, so read the market title carefully.
  • Khada is offered on fewer sites than session or lambi markets.

When does a khada bet make sense?

When you have a firm view on roughly how many runs will come but not which side of the session line they'll fall. A slow pitch with two anchoring openers, for example, can make a score in a tight band more likely than the extremes.

  • Khada loses on a fast start and on a collapse, so it suits predictable conditions.
  • Compare the payout with your own estimate of the chance the score lands in the range.

How is khada different from session betting?

A session bet wins if the score is on one side of a line. A khada bet wins only if the score lands inside a band. That makes khada harder to win and better paid, and it means both a big over and a wicket can beat you.

  • Beginners should learn session betting first.

A bet that the runs in a session or innings land inside a set range, such as 48 to 57.

Is khada the same as khado?

Yes. Sites spell it both ways for the same run-range market.

Is khada riskier than session betting?

Yes. You need the score to land in a band, so it can lose to a fast start or a collapse. The payout is higher to reflect that.
